Bad experience - from start to finish. My husband and I booked this hotel for one night because it was close to a friends house for their engagement party. When we first walked in, it looked a little sketchy, but we figured how bad could it be? We got checked into a room on the 2nd floor. The room was "ok" at first, but when you walked into the bathroom - the entire ceiling and wall (especially around the shower) was peeling off the wall! We left the hotel around 5pm to go to an engagement party and when we got back around midnight, the key to our room wouldnt work. We went down to the lobby and was told that the guy working earlier didnt remember if we had checked in or not, so they moved us in the computer to the 3rd floor!!!! Are you kidding me???? So they reactivated our keys and we went to the room to go to bed. The next morning we went to check out and they tried to overcharge us. I guess when they changed our room - the rate went up? So finally they printed the reciept saying the price we were quoted, which i then signed (i did not sign the receipt for the higher price, luckily). Well, i just logged onto my credit card and guess which price they charged me... The HIGHER ONE!!!! Now-it is only a matter of $24 difference, however, the stay was horrible and noone seemed competent enough to handle our one night stay! My credit card company will be working on the disputed charges now which is another big hassle. I've also contacted guest relations and they are sending it over to the manager of the hotel to work on (which i'm not going to be holding my breath for).

It is a very good priced hotel, however If i had known what this experience would have been like, I would have found a different hotel for a little more money.

This is my first review ever written. But I feel very strongly about the bad experience that I had, and wanted to make others aware to be very careful (and watch your credit card statement) if staying here!
