I am so upset but love Lilly's. Until yesterday I would have given 5 stars... The last 2 times we have walked away shaking our heads...and last night I was down right furious!

My dearest friends and I love warm weather so we can go to Lilly's! We are very loyal and have waited for as long as 2 hours to get in.

When you walk in there is a big case of desserts. Huge cakes etc. And you think about them for the whole meal. They bring the dessert menus out which have NO prices. Then you eat and find out that the piece of cake just cost $8.00!!! And the pieces are way smaller than last year when they would serve them on a plate that could hold a turkey.

Yesterday I ordered a personal pie instead and couldn't finish it. They threw it in a box all mangled up to make it fit, there was 3/4 of the pie left now all balled up in a box looking awful. And then the bill was $10.00 for that 4 inch pie.

I was SO UPSET!!! I told the waiter and he was polite but did nothing to rectify it. The waitress apologized for mangling it up, but really 10.00????

This is the second time we have been blown away by the dessert prices. Last time after finishing an average size and taste piece of coconut cake we saw 8.00 and were appalled. BUT in the spirit of summer decided what the hell lets do it again at least we know its over priced and its lilly's. But to then see 10.00!!!!!???? and a mangled pie in a tiny undersized box?!!!

I have not ever taken the time to write a review for any restaurant ever. And this incident was so outrageous I had to do it.

I wanted to stand out in the parking lot and warn people!! We went around town after dinner and found tons of great places for dessert. So next time we will DEFINITELY go elsewhere for that portion of the meal.

Love ya Lilly's but that practice is very deceptive... We now know to ask the price or eat elsewhere... Otherwise the food and atmosphere are great...

Fun and Funky Atmosphere!. Love this place! Kudos to the great wine list- local winery, Alba, is now one of our favorites! Hats off to the hummus plate, fruit and cheese salads, and AWESOME eggplant fries! Kitchen in the middle of the place and unique water wall add to hip ambiance. Best food in New Hope/ Lambertville.

One of the Best in Lambertville!. Terrific food - many light and vegetarian options. Nice wine list. Excellent service. Amazing desserts. Lovely outdoor patio. Go!
