WORST food EVER. Honestly, tis is the worst place for Japanese food! I went here once and I NEVER go back. I even tell everyone I know NOT to ge here. The ONLY reason they're still in business is because it's a chain restaurant. If you're looking for good sushi in Summit, I suggest somewhere else, because my friends and I did, and we've become Fujiyama-addicts.

Inedible wasabi, inattentive service. BYOB. Clean, inviting restaurant. Extensive menu including authentic Japanese and sushi. Inattentive service, not taking order in a timely manner, and never refilling beverage, even though it was empty before food was served. Sushi quality is very good, presentation is average. The wasabi lacked bite and did not taste good at all, so much so that it overwhelmed the taste of the sushi, making the overall taste well below average. I travel all the time and try sushi every where I go, and have never had bad wasabi anywhere, so this is definitely unusual and unfortunate, since otherwise this restaurant would be recommended.

Monster Sushi Excellent New Jersey. This beautiful restaurant located in Summit NJ continues it's number one position amidst the local competition. Why? Super clean super fresh sushi and a huge menu for non sushi fans. They have found a way to cater to local families with a kid's menu while pleasing the parents with great and healthy food one doesn't normally find in a kid friendly environment. Besides the great looks of the restaurant, the food is consistent. We have never been disappointed, naturally the weekends are busy but service is fast and professional. It's really like a city restaurant in the burbs.
