Dear notpublic,.
We are sorry you did not have a positive experience at Zanya Spa Salon. We would like to address your claim that we are not listeners. We hold consultation classes every month with our educators and salon staff to learn how to do just that - listen to our client - and use that information to provide the best experience possible. It is something we take very seriously.
There are times when a client may ask for a color, for example, that will not work with their current hair color, texture, skin tone and/or eye color. Perhaps the color they have in mind will be too much processing for their fragile hair. Perhaps they color they'd like will bring out all the yellow undertones in their skin, making them look sallow all the time.
It is our job as professionals to guide our clients into decisions that will make them look their best. That is why people come to us...because we DO know better. We have years and years of training and experience that we utilize every day to help our clients look and feel their best.
We always try to be accomodating to our clients' needs and desires, and occasionally we are not going to meet eye to eye. But most of the time we can find a compromise that will work best for our client.
We invite you to come back and give us another try.
not listeners. It seems that the spa services are great, BUT the hairdressers can't seem to listen to their clients. I've run into several people who say there's an overall cloud of attitude that lingers with the hairdressers. Clients give suggestions and requests and they are ignored because the hairdresser and managment know better. No thank you, not with so many other selections near.
watch out. I've been there twice, once for a pedicure and once for a haircut. The pedicure was great and very relaxing, as reviewer ainnice said. However, my experience having a haircut there was the worst I've ever had. I described what I wanted to the stylist and explained that I wanted something low-maintenance. Maybe she was having a bad day or was new - I don't know, but the cut she gave me was NOTHING like what I had asked for. She also styled it very heavily, after I had specifically asked her not to put a lot of product in it. I went home in tears and have not gone back.
friendly, reasonably priced, and completely a relaxing experience.... i went here for a quickie pedicure. the staff was friendly, attentive, and exteremly welcoming. what i thought was gonna be a "normal" quickie pedi, turned out to be a completely relaxing truly spa-centric experience. i was escorted to a room with couches and pillows galore and given the option of hot tea or water w/ lemon. once my soak was ready, i was led to a lovely room where somone was seated to my right, but with the set up of curtains, i felt as if i was in my own room. afterwards, i was led back to the "couch room" and given as much time as i needed before i headed back out into the "real world." a great experience all around -- AND reasonably priced to boot!
