Jeff C And John A should be ashamed of themselves and find a better way to spend there time other then spreading lies about a great attorney. First Jeff C was NEVER A CLIENT of Branigan&Associates it was a family member who was the client he is a LIAR in every sense of the word.And for John A you make some serious accusations do you have proof of this behavior i didn't think so before you make accusation be a man and find some facts.

Heres a tip: allot of people dont like lawyers but Sean Branigan is worth getting a consult with if you have a legal problem because he does know the law and does his job. I knew him since before he was the firm owner and was a public defender for many years and has represented allot of clients in family and criminal court. He represented me in Municipal and Superior Courts and got me visitation to my daughter back among other things and got a fake charge dropped. I am born and raised here in Montclair went to MHS and as someone who knows he will answer the call and meet for a free consult and then its your decision to hire him or not. If you dont like a lawyer dont hire him but Sean has helped me and my family allot. AP.

BEWARE - The recent positive reviews are fabricated. (all members joined 2 months ago in one session). This is done by Branigan, which is a direct violation of attorney ethics. The attorney drinks during the day in his room and doesn't pay attention to his cases. He does not guide his staff who are underpaid and inexperienced. He even has issues with his trust account that was investigated some time ago. Stay away. Go to a proper law office, not this one.

Montclairs best lawyer and best fees and he cleaned it up. Branigan and I went to school together and he helped me win my DUI. The people who are mad at the world will always blame their lawyer. I can tell you they have gotten more greencards for their clients than all the other Montclair lawyers combined. Also, Branigan is a state trained pool attorney which is why he is comfortable and networked in every Superior and Municipal court. He grew up here and tries his best to protect his clients - MANY of which never even appreciate it. The best of the worst. Highly recommended

This is by far the best firm for the buck highly recomended. I have used this firm for nearly ten years. They got me a tax reduction and got my son out of trouble for 1/2 the cost of two big firms and got a better result. Sean Branigan was a public defender and worked with a friend of mine in Essex and Passaic Counties and is a highly respected attorney. Dont believe the haters that are full of it. They also did my cousins divorce and got her $10k a month in alimony. Must meet with Mr. Branigan as there have been allot of lawyers there.

Cares far more about money than clients, no communication. Avoid this law firm. They have been bungling a simple divorce case for my mother-in-law, dragging out for months what could have been done by more professional lawyers far more quickly. They seemed to know nothing about the case whatsoever, never communicated with us at all up until Mr Branigan felt it was time to share the bill at which time he took personal interest.

He never notified us the retainer expired and whenever we spoke with his firm (they would never give any information or updates without us having to chase them down) he was aggressive and insulting.

This is not a professional. Find a better lawyer.

Solid Firm. A very good law firm. Mr. Branigan and his team were very knowledgeable. Every member of the firm approached my case with the utmost empathy, importance, justness, sincerity and professionalism. Thus, securing a positive judicial outcome for me and my family. Highly recommended.

Thorough Attorney. Sean Branigan and his team at Branigan & Associates handled my case very well. Mr. Branigan and his associates were very attentive, compassionate and always willing to answer all of my questions regarding the matter. I feel very fortunate to have hired this law office and, thanks to them, put this case behind me for good.

BEWARE. im only giving them a one star rating because i have too to post this.if it was up to me i would not even give that! i am posting this because i want people to beware of them lieing.the other reviews are correct.not enough ink to say what happened to us.seriously go elsewhere.non proffesional and they only have bigger fish to fry.they do not communicate with you at all if you dont follow up with them.we wasted almost 2 years when come to find out our case was closed after two months.no one told us this so we continued to wait.save your money.the good old i told you so.they have people that do not know what they are doing there and very disorganized.every time you call, you speak to a different person and you keep retelling your story over and over.meanwhile like the other person said,they are probably grads that do not know what they are doing.this is putting it lightly.too bad i cannot fully explain.i just might consider bringing this to the news.good luck

No Branigan and a few associates. firm is run by a bunch of law students and law school grads with very little experience and knowledge of the law. avoid this place at all costs. i dont want to have to say, I TOLD YOU SO.
