Hands down the best endondontist or dentist I have ever visited. He works with incredible care and precision. People were shocked by how little pain I felt after my root canal. I am fairly uncomfortable in dentists' offices, and he made me feel completely at ease. Phenomenal doctor!

The best Endodontist I have been to yet. I had terrible pain and right away i knew i needed to get a root canal :( Boy do i hate root canal and really all dental work. With lots of anxiety i walked into Dr Maltsen. Contrary to many of my previous experiences with dentists I was pleasantly surprised. The dr numbed be so I obviously felt no pain. But what really made this doctor different was the quality time spent with me. He is very thorough, doesn't rush and really makes sure the work is done properly. (Not very easy to find a dentist like this these days). Very professional I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Maltsen for a root canal. He did a fantastic job...the one thing that I hate about getting dental work done is when you are worried whether the Dr. gave you enough anesthesia or not. Dr Maltsen took the time to test the numbness with something cold and added the necessary lidocaine. This way I could relax and not worry about feeling anything. All in all a great experience...Highly recommended!

2 weeks ago I woke up in excruciating pain. My general dentist referred me to an endodontist in Englewood. I could not get an appointment for 1 week. I found Dr Maltsen by luck from the internet. His office staff told me to come in immediately even though they were heavily booked. Dr Maltsen was gentle, kind and considerate and got me out of pain. My root canal was painless. I came into the office crying and left smiling. It was my fortune that the first endodontist could not see me. I have never been treated so wonderfully by an office. I would recommend Dr Maltsen highly. I had no insurance and his staff kindly worked with me on payment plans that were affordable. Its comforting to know that there are offices that truly care about their patients.

Rich is correct. Office staff is horrid! Overbilling and when you ask for clarification they get defensive.

The BEST Endodontist in the area. Dr. Maltsen is one of the best endodontists there is. Professional, knowledgeable, gentle and overall a GREAT doctor. Pleasant staff and a great office. Don't listen to the other review, clearly it's someone who was trying to get something done without paying the fee that the doctor works hard to earn.

Beware of unprofessional tactics and overbilling. Beware. You better check with you insurance before having a procedure at this office. The office manager is rude and sneaky. I had to call my dental plan to find out that she was trying to inflate my bill. When I confronted her, she told me to leave the office. I was not making a scene or acting disrespectfully in any way. Dr.Maltsen seems like a nice enough fellow, but if he chooses to employ people that will inflate his fees, he is really to blame. He just has someone else do the dirty work. Look around for other reviews and you will see that this is a theme. The good review for this dentist must have been written by his staff.
