I shopped here with a friend who is a bit on the large side, she isn't fat, but she is bigger. She was trying on short dresses and the sales person said to her"Honey, you really shouldn't be trying on those short dresses with your thighs". the salesgirl was incredibly rude and that is no way to treat a customer whether they are 105 lbs. or 305 lbs. My friend and I were very unhappy.

To All Our Valued Clients, We are grateful for your continued patronage. It has been an enjoyable 2012 season and we look forward to an even more successful 2013 season with new merchandise arriving by September. I would also like to extend an apology for the bogus reviews placed on this sight. Since our opening in December of 2009 we have been plagued by a less than honest store also located in Wayne New Jersey, known as “The Red Carpet”. I am sure many of you are aware of their notorious business transactions through the media the past few months and the fact they had an “F” rating from the BBB. Unfortunately, our store was also victim to their antics. The negative reviews written on this sight have been linked to people associated with “The Red Carpet” in an effort to save their failing business. They have also tried to link their name to our account and interfered with our domains. Lawyers were retained and our competitor was contacted, but continued to interfere. We apologize to anyone reading these unjustified reviews and hope that your visit to our store will show you just how bogus these reviews have been. Coco’s Chateau has an “A” rating from the BBB. The BBB is the only legitimate review of a store, a consumer’s best way to judge a stores reputation is through the BBB. Review sights such as Google, City search, Insider pages and Yellow pages are just open forums for anyone to say anything without cause or justification and there is no legal ground for retractions, no matter the situation. Sad but true. A person who has not even visited a store can comment negatively on that particular store. If a legitimate client of ours has any problem kindly state your first name and your invoice number and our store will be more than willing to accommodate you to the best of our ability. As I stated none of these reviews have been with merit. As for The Red Carpet, Coco’s Chateau was among the few stores in this area who offered to help get the girls their dresses when The Red Carpet failed to honor their contracts. Once again we apologize to anyone reading these unjustified reviews and welcome everyone to visit our two locations with more than 5,000 gowns and cocktail dresses in stock for your very special occasion. WE LOVED THIS PLACE. I took my daughter to Coco's yesterday for a prom dress. Prior to this, she was having a hard time finding anything because she is very slim. The staff at Coco's was just great and extremely helpful. There were lots of dresses for her to choose from. Next time she needs a dress, we will go here first.

Thank you Cocos!!!. The staff at Coco Chateau is exemplary as is the service. After a 6-7 week nightmare at their competor's who was unable to produce a dress, Coco's helped my daughter choose and receive a dress within a 3 day window. Looking at these reviews I cannot imagine anything negative being said about the owner, staff assistance or selection. My guess is iit the classless owner of the competetor masquerading around as a faceless, envious and hateful person. She has no idea about customer service and if she dedicated a fraction of the time she does with giving Cocos bad reviews her business might survive. although I doubt it...I have never been called a schizophrenic by a store owner who could not keep up her end of the bargain. Coco Chateau treats their customers with respect and understands the significance of a special occasion. Thank you again for saving prom! I will make sure to tell everyone I know how wonderful you all are!

Horrible store...NEVER shop here!. My experience with the staff and owner of this store was HORRIBLE! I went in to find a dress about 1 week ago and I will NEVER return. The staff was unfriendly, and while they had a lot of dresses, they were mostly damaged (like they have been tried on too many times). When I tried to speak with the owner of the store, she acted WAY to busy to give me the time of day. She is very unpleasant!

I felt very pressured to purchase something and when I left without doing so, I felt that the staff was very disrespectful. I hope this store closes in the near future...I do not want anyone else to experience what I experienced. They are a shady business that I would never trust my money with. I would advise that you NEVER step foot in this store unless you want to leave feeling like you were pressured, pushed and disrespected if you don't buy.

i'm laughing at some of these reviews. Clearly the same person (princess lady) is writing the negative reviews along with another crazy. Why do you waste your time constantly writing negative reviews? Don't you have anything better to do? I bought my prom dress from here last year and they do have a large selection of dresses and great service. I heard of cocos through my school because everyone bought their dresses there. So yes i would say they have a good reputation if i heard of them. so you wackies get a life, and for everyone else i recommend you check out this store for yourself or youll pass up some great dresses.

Great experience at Coco's!!. Came to Coco's for my first time to look for a Junior Formal dress and the selection was AWESOME! So many dresses to choose from and you could even special order if they do not have your size! The help was great and very helpful, I would definetly reccommend coming here to shop for a gown. I will absolutely come back in the future!!

FOUND MY DRESS HERE!!. Just bought a dress for my sisters wedding in February and I am in LOVE!!! So excited and can not wait to wear it! Thank you so much Cocos Workers for the great service .. I will definately be shopping there again and I highly recommond it! Shocked by the bad reviews because it is COMPLETELY OPPOSITE than what some people are saying.. Owner was so nice and helpful .. I LOVED COCOS!
