Stay Away!. Stay away, if for only a fear that you will have a bad experience and they will try to take retaliatory action against you.

After having a terrible customer service experience with them, I posted the following to their Facebook page to express my displeasure:

"I'm officially boycotting Metro Cafe & Lounge in Newark, NJ. I usually go there because the food is mediocre and decently priced. But when I ordered a burger and fries today and waited 10 minutes, I thought I was well within my right to ask when it would be done. When I did so and saw that the burger was not even on the grill yet, I was told "it's busy" because it's lunchtime, and "what do you want? go next door." Not a great way to treat your customers Metro...I will never go back to your location and will certainly encourage everyone I know not to go there either."

Their responses to this post were not only less than satisfactory (and incredibly defensive), but escalated to a level of them stating: "It's official, we're on a mission to get Randy back."

I don't know about you as a customer, but I certainly do not believe that a threat of defamation is an acceptable method of customer service.

There are plenty of other places in the area with better food. Try McGovern's for a burger, Dario's for a burrito...but just don't go here.
