Bad Salon...Can't Believe It's Still Open. I arrived at my scheduled appointment of 8:00 a.m. There was someone else there to get their hair done by the same person but she was willing to let her start me off since her style won't take too long (that as so nice of her). We waited for almost an hour for the stylist to get there and she strolled in as if she didn't even have any appointments! When she started my hair Tina's God daughter came in with her daughter wanting her and her daughter's hair done by the same stylist doing my hair. Even though Tina told her that the stylist was doing my hair the God daughter was such a brat that as a grown woman she threw a tantrum saying that she's paying for her hair to get done and she wants service. Instead of Tina and the stylist being professional and telling her that I along with the other lady had appointments, they catered to her and her nasty attitude by putting me to the side for a little while so they can 'start her off' as they put it. I was fuming. But as a professional woman with much class, I let it slide. I was happy that I cleared my schedule to get my hair done but was also disappointed that I left the salon at approx 4 pm after being there since 8 am! Ridiculous!!!! If I didn't tell them that I had to work, I would have been there longer. Then the stylist doing my hair told me that I should schedule braids not get braids during the weekends because they get busy. I should schedule it on the weekdays. She said it as if I have all the time in the world and no life to live or a job. I couldn't believe that she tried to make it out to be my fault for their lack of professionalism!! When I was finished my hair looked great and I tipped her for the great job on my hair. But when it was time to pay Tina charged me more than she did the previous time. She came up with some screwed up story why she was charging me more but I told her that I know what I got my style was exactly the same as before. It bothered me that they let Tina's God daughter behave so rude to other paying customers. It bothered me that I was blamed for getting braids on the weekend. It bothered me that I was charged a higher price for the same style I got previously. I vowed never to go back and I haven't been back in over two years. The funny thing is that I saw that stylist at the hair store one day. She said hello and I cordially said hello in return. She went on to say that she hasn't seen me at the salon. I said, "nope and I will never return back to get my hair done nor will I refer any of my friends...have a great day!"
