Knowledgable Staff and Great Service & Equipment!. No matter where I've lived, and i've lived all over NJ, I always go to this Sun Spa. First, when you walk in, the environment alone is relaxing and definitely gives off a more Spa then tanning feel! I burn easily so I was extremely relieved and comforted by the advice and guidance from Steve and the rest of the staff. It also helps that they carry the most up-to-date quality equipment. Again the most important thing, I think, is that you get an education about the sun, your own skin type and much more while there. Thanks to Steve's knowledge I've been a client for for well over 5 years. When in NJ, the Sun Spa is always where I'll go!

The best tanning under the indoor sun. The Sun Spa in Upper Montclair is a rare find. From the moment you walk into the warm, stylish and inviting lounge, you know you are going to be taken care of. The owner, Steve, or any of his confident and cheerful staff seem to know exactly what you want and they are ready and fully prepared to deliver. Their attention to detail is evident throughout: spotlessly clean facilities, well-maintained top of the line equipment and careful instruction for all first-timers add up to an experience that is beyond the pale (pun intended!).

Awful awful cusotmer service. This salon is the worst. Not only are the booths dirty, but the owner is aggressive. After requesting a stand up booth, he screamed and cursed at me. If you value customer service and want a good experience, do not choose this salon.
