Terrible Experience. First off, the waitress was TERRIBLE. It took forever for her to take our order. Then she basically ignored us the rest of the meal, with us having to try and get her attention when we needed something. She would walk right past us when we would call for her.

Also, I ordered the gnocchi bolognese. I have had this many times at many different restaurants. The gnocchi was mushy and the sauce didn't taste right. There was strange or fishy smell to it. I was not happy with it.

I politely asked the woman t take it back and take it off the bill. The woman told me I was wrong, and it was a matter of taste. She refused to take it off the bill. I have never been so insulted in all my life. I eat out a lot, and consider myself a good customer. I didn't make a scene and I'm hardly ever return food (in this case I just couldn't eat it). I've never been told I was wrong and insulted the was I was.

I will never eat there again and tell my friends never to eat there again.

Excellent food, poor service. My review based on many lunch time visits: the food is excellent, the service is pretty bad. Order multiple sodas at a time, because odds are you will not see your server again until after you are finished eating. Also allow time if you are having lunch there during the business day - this is not the place for a quick lunch. As for food, the pizza is amazing, and we always order the calamari as well. Awesome food trumps the bad service, and we will keep going back.

"THE REZ". I live in Massachusetts, grew up in Boonton, have eaten pizza in a million places, nothing will ever come close to the REZ or depending on you age, "Louis". The only thing close to the sauce was my Italian Mother-in Laws, which was awesome, but still, there was something about this "red sauce joint" that is impossible to beat. I highly recommend the "Rez", the atmosphere is full of local color and the food is delicious. Can't wait for my next visit home, my taste buds are screaming rez,rez rez......!

Best Pizza In The World. The Reservoir Tavern has been in business for decades. People have been driving out to the "Rez" from Manhattan for thier handmade pies the whole time. It is a great joint with the most consistently good pizza I have ever had!
