I'm only giving one star because I have to

Immediately after walking into the Ferry St BBQ, the room filled with smoke. Their fume hood above the grill wasn't big enough to catch it all, and many of the patrons were engulfed, my asthmatic father among them. Before they even had time to bring a bread basket to the table, we had to leave. I accidentally left my glasses on the table and 10 minutes later came back to get them. The owner had hidden them and refused to return them because he was angry that we left! I explained to him why we had to leave, and he still denied ever seeing them. It wasn't until an angry encounter, a threat to call the cops, a call from my Portuguese uncle, and the entire dining area leaving that he admitted to have taken them and they were begrudgingly returned to me.

Do NOT do business with these people. They absolutely don't deserve it. That is no way to run a business.

• Pros: The food smelled halfway decent
• Cons: Awful people, filthy place, horrible altogether

GREAT BBQ!

I completely disagree with the comment below this is a very good restaurant,awsome food served in front of yours eyes, and very kind people. I go there almost everyday to buy food my husband and children love it !

Avoid No Matter What

I have eaten a few times at this place, it is very small so its usually busy, Dont let this fool you. The food is almost always lacking in taste and has actually made me sick a few times. The restrooms are very dirty, if this is any indication of how they keep up with cleaniness. I would not trust this place. Also the man behind the counter, not sure if he is the owner or just the cook is extremely rude. He yells and swears at his customers. I once saw him yelling at a pregnant lady telling her not to use their restroom. Disgusting.

• Cons: food is not so good, service is awful, place is dirty
