I recently went through a nasty fast separation. I called Father and Son. Sandy came over looked at my 4 bedroom gave me a price and the next day 4 men showed up packed everything and I was out of the house in hours and into storage. Then 1 month later when I found my new house they came to the new house with all my property and unpacked everything and even put together our beds. These guys were great I felt safe taken care and a very lucky. Sandy told me not to worry she would have a good group of men take care of everything and she was 100% correct. Thank you Father and Son moving and Storage you saved our lives and my mind

I used Father And Son moving and storage I booked in with them 2 days in advance. I had never used them before but I will use them any time I need them in the future. They showed up on time and they moved our things with no problem they price they gave me in advance was dead on. This was the first time I have had no problem with a more and it was with great relief the job was fast on time and clean GREAT COMPANY

HORRIFIC. This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Everything that others have posted except Blackjack200 (whom I suspect works or owns the company) is true. They tripled my estimate. To move a small 1 bedroom apt into their storage facilities cost me $2,000 and I had everything packed for them. The only storage location they have is in Newark NJ by the airport but they told me that they had ohters in the Tri-State area. NOTHING THAT THEY TOLD ME WAS TRUE. When I tried to move my things out of storage I was informed that there was a $450 fee for them to move my things to a loading area at their warehouse if they did not move me to my new home. Basically holding my belongings hostage.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.

I Do Not Know What These People Are Talking About. I do not know what these other people went through. I used this organization to move into my new apartment back in August of 2009. They arrived on time to my house, all of my boxes were packed. They moved me out of my old place in less then 40 minutes. The quote that I was given by the woman was the same price that I payed when the move was done. They even put my air conditioner in the new apartment's window. The only problem I had was they did not completely put together my bed before the men left. I called the office in about a half an hour, another crew came to my house after leaving from another job and put my bed together.

I have referred this organization to about 12 other families and no such problems occured. I guess you just can not please everyone. I was pleased with their work and I highly recommend them to anyone who is checking out this site.

AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!. they are crooks, charged 3x more than quoted; destroyed my furniture; scammers - wanted me to sign all the paperwork 1st, and I did like an idiot. they held my stuff hostage until i paid them cash after they charged 3x as much. don't use them, I wish i rad these reviews 1st they are all right on with their descriptions. the state attorney general should shut them down!!!!

THEY ARE FRAUDS CROOKS LIARS!. If you want to get charged more than double than your original quota, have your furniture held hostage unless you pay the exuberant excess amount then use them. DISHONEST, RUDE, ETC. I am sorry i did not read the reviews on this site or other sites' reviews before i used them. SAL/JEANA were rude and despicable when questioned about being mislead about pricing. I had no choice but to pay the movers or else I would have no furniture. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. BEWARE of their SCAM! all the reviews about them are all true. I am also perplexed how and why they are still in business. what they did was criminal. People need to know how dishonest they truly are. wish i could give a negative star like they deserve.

Stay Away. Wish I had read the reviews first! This company is, indeed, awful. The men arrived with a 15 page contract to be executed before they started. When I refused to sign the delivery acknowledgement section (imagine that, I refused to acknowledge delivery before one box was loaded) we had to speak with the office...45 minutes of back and forth...we sent them out empty handed. I felt sorry for the moving team because they won't get paid for today. But maybe they should find an honest employer.

BAD BUSINESS. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED WITH A, SO CALLED, PLACE OF BUSINESS. LIKE ALL THE OTHERS INDICATED, THEY ARE CROOKS. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU READ ALL DOCUMENTS THOROUGHLY BEFORE SIGNING. GET A COPY AT THE TIME OF SIGNING THE DOCUMENTS...AND FOLLOW THE MOVERS TO THE SITE SO THEY DON'T CHARGE YOU OUTRAGEOUS OVERTIME FEES. Dreadful!. Extortion is the act or practice of extorting especially money or other property...if you utilize the services of Father & Son Moving Company you will experience this first hand.

Horrific. I will NEVER use this company again – I am telling all my friends, neighbors and associates about my awful experience and want to alert people I don’t know! This company is incompetent in every way – from quoting; to loading; to delivering; to reassembling. They excel at tripling the price quoted; damaging furniture; not reassembling the furniture and getting lost for 1 hr on a 30 minute ride. Experts they are not!
