This dealership has been part of our local community for as long as I can remember. No wonder I felt like I was visiting an old friend when I bought my Kia Soul! Everyone was so nice, not pushy, and helped me find the perfect car for me (I love it, btw!).
Thanks Maroon Kia! You'll be seeing me again when my husband needs a new car!
After buying a car that had issues, I brought it in for service after only driving it for two weeks. Only two minor problems that needed to be fixed that took four weeks. I decided to show up to check on my car since the beautiful customer service people never called me. After my car being "ready" there was still issues. What happened to customer service?! I caution you when going to this shady dealership. I will never recommend it, and I will tell everyone I know about this in hopes that maroon Kia on hamburg turnpike will never sell a car again.
STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY. This dealership is very dishonest. In 2009 we purchased a used vehicle. We were told that this car was "one of their own", they maintained the car from day one and it was stressed to us that this car was never in an accident. The sales person and the sales manager assured us that this was a car that was in pristine condition and since it never was in an accident it was worth top dollar. Shame on us. We believed the people at Maroon Kia and did not demand a car fax (they told us that it was expensive to get one and that we didn't need one since this was "their" car). We had never purchased a used car before (and stupidly told them that). We had problems with the car (which we later found out was due to the accident) soon after it was purchased and they told us that it was not their responsibility. We fixed the problems as they came up which cost us quite a lot of money. When we went to trade the car in, we went to another dealership and they immediately ran a Carfax and low and behold the car we bought from Maroon Kia was in a major accident a month before we were sucked in and bought it. The accident caused damage that has caused us ongoing problems which we have had to repair (on more than one occasion) at great expense to us. After we went back to Maroon and told them that we were upset that we were deceived and duped, the sales manager practically laughed in our face and told us that it was not their problem. We were willing to let them make it right and wanted to trade in this vehicle for one that was more suitable for our teenager. They offered us next to nothing for the vehicle they sold us less than 2 years ago (it has been repaired, is clean, free of body damage, etc...) because its value is greatly diminished due to the major accident that occurred a month before they sold us the vehicle! We paid top dollar for this used vehicle because they told us at the time of purchase that it was NEVER in an accident. There are so many dealers. Don't deal with Maroon Kia in Wayne, NJ. They will dupe you, deceive you and then laugh at you because they took you for a ride...literally and robbed your pocket on the way.....
Bought two cars there but no more. Very dismayed about what recently transpired in their service dept. I have purchased two Kias there and had both faithfully serviced by the same folks for years. I bought the second Kia just because of the wonderful service dept. Any issue I had with service was always taken care of right away by former svc mgr Brian. Brian was always there. The other front desk folks might work different days, but whenever I was there, so was Brian. He was great. He showed me how to change the filter behind the glove compartment. I paid a lot of money for that filter and couldn't afford to have them put it in for a lot of money more. And a tech let me watch him change out my brake light so when the other bulb went a week later I could do myself because I don't have a lot of money to spend. Hey, if I could afford Mercedez Benz service prices I would have bought a Mercedez! They reminded me of when I first started getting Hondas when they were new and the service people treated you really well and showed you things to keep you coming back. Now when it is time for my car's major service, I couldn't get anybody in their service dept to get back to me with a price. I have to go 30 miles away to the only other Kia dealer I can hitch a ride to work from. I was shocked after reaching this other dealer that their price for svc was lower than Maroon even taking into account coupons and incentives I had for being a loyal customer there. I am very happy with my second Kia but afraid it will have to be the last because I cannot depend on getting good service close to home anymore.
HORRIBLE!. I JUST FOUND OUT THAT THE OLD SERVICE MANAGER WAS FIRED! HE WAS THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THAT PLACE. CERTAINLY THE GENERAL MGR AND OWNER DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYONE. WAYNE LIES. I'VE TRACKED DOWN THE PREVIOUS SERVICE MGR. (BRIAN DANIELL) AND WILL NOW BE SERVICING AND PURCHASING FROM HIM...WAKE UP GUYS YOU'VE LOST THE BEST THAT YOU HAD.
recommed to everyone. I recently returned for my first oil change and was helped by Jose P, who was very thorough and professional, even returning my car washed! Maroon has a great line of cars and a great team. I recommend this dealership to everyone who mentions they are looking for a car.
Fastest Service. ERSONALLY I HAVE FOUND THE MAROON KIA SERVICE DEPT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT. THEIR REPAIRS ARE RIGHT ON THE FIRST TIME AND THE PRICING IS FANTASTIC. RECENTLY MY DAUGHTER BROKE DOWN AND WAS TOWED TO MAROON KIA. WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF ARRIVING THE SERVICE MANAGER BRIAN DANIELL (WHAT A GREAT GUY!) CALLED TO INFORM ME THAT HE RECEIVED THE TRUCK. 45 MINUTES WE GOT A CALL THAT A FAULTY COMPUTER WAS REPLACED. WE PICKED UP THE TRUCK ONLY 2 HOURS AFTER BREAKING DOWN. NOW THATS GREAT SERVICE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE DEPT FOR HIGH QUALITY WORKMANSHIP AND THE NICEST PEOPLE IN THE INDUSTRY. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS AND MY HAT IS OFF TO BRIAN (THE SERVICE MANAGER) FOR RUNNING SUCH A GREAT OPERATION.....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

Well, here we are at 100,000 miles. My Sedona still looks and drives like new.
We have friends who have a one-year old Mercedes SUV, but we still take the KIA when we go anywhere with them.
Only problem is that since my old Sedona is still so "new", I'll never get to actually buy a NEW one, especially since the service department at Maroon KIA takes such good care of it!

grateful. I want to take this opportunity to make you aware of the great help two of the service department peoiple afforded my wife and myself recently. On a trip from Florida to New Hampshire for a funeral service, our car broke down on the NJ Turnpike and was towed to North Bergen. In looking at the Yellow Pages, Maroon KIA wa the only one listed and I called and spoke to Wayne Diaz who helped me get in touch with the KIA Roadside Service. The car was towed to Maroon KIA as it was still under warranty, where Brian Daniell determined that a new starter was needed. Not finding one in the immediate area, he ordered one Expressed in and it arrived the next day. Repair work began immediately and we were back on the road by noon. The collective work of Wayne, Brian, and the service department allowed us to be in time for the services in New Hampshire and we are very grateful for all their help
great group of people. I had to contact you and let you know how great your service department is. Every time I deal with them, they are the friendiest, most professional, informed and helpful group I've ever encountered in auto service. (And that's a long time, since 1960!)/ Aside from the usual oil changes, tire rotations, etc., they go out of their way to help in time of difficulty. I recently had a problem that necessitated my car being towed to your facility. Everything was handled by Wayne and Missy, and I had my car back that evening with 4 brand new tires, balanced and with a wheel alignment. It's like a new car. I have friends who own Mercedes, Lexus and BMW's, but when we compare the service we get, believe me, mine is better. I could, at this stage of my life, buy one of htose brands too, but I won't. If I can't keep my Sedona forever, I'll certainly be back to Maroon for another KIA. Thank you for having such a great group of people there for me.
