Hidden Gem. This little hidden gem is located in Pompton Plains, N.J., off of Newark Pompton Turnpike, behind Plains Pharmacy. My family and I go to Pizza Man at least two times per month. My wife always gets the mussels and I mostly stay with the pastas, my favorite being the Tortelloni Bolognese. Whichever dish I do get is never disappointing. We both also love to share the Seafood salad which has Littleneck Clams and scallops among all the traditional seafood standard ingredients. I couldn't even begin to describe just how good it is. There are plenty of items on the menu for the kids also. The restaurant is small and cozy, I would go a bit early as their has been a wait our last few times there. Go and enjoy this hidden gem!
