The customer service here is really great! I was looking for a costume for my daughter's solo and the staff was very helpful! I was able to get most if what I wanted that day and I ordered the rest from one of their catalogs at no extra charge! The items came in quickly and were exactly as pictured. I couldn't be happier and I am absolutely going to make this my go-to store!
Great Selection- Nice Staff. I love this store! The staff was awesome and helpful right from the beginning- they took time with me and fit me in my shoes and helped me find great stuff for class! It was a treck to get there, but totally worth the trip! (the distance is why no 5th star)
NOT an OUTLET ANYMORE! Beware....
I went to the Outlet in Lawrenceville only to find it closed up with a sign in the window saying "visit our new location". I was excited that they were still around at all until I saw the "new location" was in WAYNE! Over an hour North! My son was at a sports camp and I had 4 hours to kill....and I needed to find character shoes by the weekend, so I opted to take the drive. I called before I left, and verified they were still there, they were open...and most importantly....I asked "and you're the place that has the link on your page with the $5 character shoes?" "That's us!" the girl responded. Sooo....I drove the hour+, walked in, and asked for character shoes. NOTHING UNDER $60+! Well, one pair of plastic, no name brand shoes were $40. So I asked where the "clearance" and "outlet" shoes were. The girl then said "yeah, we keep trying to get them to take that off the website. It's really causing problems. The outlet part is only online...we're strictly retail"
WHAT? I pointed out that I CALLED, and specifically asked if they were the place with the link on their page listing the $5 shoes, and her response was "oh...well you just asked if we were the place with the link. You didn't say you were coming here for the shoes"
ARE YOU SERIOUS???
((SIGH)) So over an hour and $30 in fuel wasted....and no shoes 8(
SO BE WARNED...THIS LOCATION SAYS OUTLET...BUT IT IS NO LONGER AN OUTLET!!
In fact...there was barely even any clearance.
Great place to shop!!. They have $5.00 Character shoes, $25 Point shoes, and $85 K360's!! So what if they don't have a public restroom. I have a little one myself and we've been refused bathrooms, but I've never written a spiteful review like "tradergirl," who didn't even go into the store herself. She's basing her opinion on what someone else told her. There is a very nice, knowledgeable young lady who works there with a baby. She always helps me. I think she's the owner. Very knowledgeable and accomodating. Ask her next time.
Zero Customer Service.
I wish I could give 0 stars.
The week of November 1st 2010, my MIL took my daughter to this store to buy an outfit for her ballet class (top, skirt, tights, shoes, the works!) As they were trying on clothes, my 3 year old needed to go potty. The clerk REFUSED to let my child use their bathroom - in spite of the fact that they were about to make a purchase in the store.
Can you imagine turning down your bathroom to a toddler? It's not like my mother-in-law was asking to use the bathroom - they denied a child. My MIL promptly left and we will never return.
If they can't see that the customer (a child!) is the most important thing, they will never see a cent of my money. I will tell everyone I know about my experience with this store, and hopefully will save you a wasted trip. Give your business to a store that cares about customers, not just your money.
