Great food and Service. This was my second visit to this wonderful restaurant. The first time, with 8 people, and the food and SERVICE was terrific. The second time, we were three. Again, wonderful. They make the most unusual foods. I've had a pumpkin stuffed with cheese and sausage etc. Next time, tuna sashimi, tuna tartar, and tuna marinade. Almost wanted to double my appetizer. I had the Salmon encrusted in pistachio nuts - wonderful. I am going to a Christmas gathering for about 15 people; and I will try some other wonderful item from the menu or the list of specials almost as long as the menu. They use a lot of imagination and just the images of the food when it is being described makes you salivate. As for service, we have never had to wait. They give you enough time to talk about your choices and then they take your order. They answer questions about specials not on the regular menu. I hope they are around for a long time and that they remain as professional and tempting as they are currently. I would recommend this to everyone.

Only go if you have patience. Lunellos used to be our favorite place to go, with the best service and best food, well, that has changed since they moved to a bigger place. The wait can be over 90 minutes, and no place is worth the wait. They don't hide the fact that their friends will be seated before you, I saw about 4 couples that came in way after us get seated right away and the hostess hugged them and said it was great to see them again. My poor daughter had the worse birthday there, being ignored for 90 minutes when the reservations were made weeks ahead of time. The hostess wouldn't even look my daughter and her friends in their face because she was seating people that came in about 40 minutes after my daughter's party. She also saw a lot of people walk out, but, the place wil ALWAYS be super popular and will always be crowded. My advice is to try it one time, as for, us never again.

Best Italian in the Metro Area. Want to feel like you're on the set of The Sopranos? At Lunellos you'll find a cast of local Italian Americans who understand a good tasting meal without all the Times Square flash. A short trip across the Hudson is a necessary evil if you want the best Italian the area has to offer. Here one will never have to even look at a menu as the daily specials are colorfully and extensively explained by the great wait staff.
