Had dinner at fiorino with a group of 10 and it was probably the best meal i have had.... you can tell all pastas were homemade, they did a pasta combination for us. to die for....pasta was so fresh and light...... burrata was amazing....grilled octopus appetizer was tender.....almond crusted calamari was the best i ever had.....my entree was the osso buco which fell right off the bone without a knife so tender and amazing flavor....everyone else had the veal chop, pork chop,t-bone steaks etc....we were all amazed with the food and service was top notch.....they were true professionals........JUST AMAZING.......cant wait to go back
Great for Groups. Friends brought me there for my birthday, whatta find! Wonderful for groups. The service is smart & efficient. Great wines by the glass, super value at the bar! I had the tuna tartare & the pork chop, they were both awesome! The homemade desserts are to die for.
Very Nice Vibe!. Very nice atmosphere. Both classic and modern and good for group dining. Good service, good food and good drinks!
Editorial Review. With a long wine list and menu of traditional Tuscan fare, this spot serves up an authentic taste of Italy.
Average Food, Sub-Standard Service. Food at Fiorino is standard Northern Italian (pastas, veal, steak, etc) and wine list is decent with affordable selections. However service was TERRIBLE. When we were seated we were handed menus but no wine list. Waiter came around to take orders we had to remind him that we had not placed our drink order. He brought (and opened and poured) our bottle of wine before we had finished our first drink. Salads were brought out so fast I was wondering if they had an inventory prepared just waiting to be served. After entrees were served we never saw him again. We intended to order dessert but gave up after multiple attempts to get the waiters' attention. The crowd is also a bore - don't believe what Zagat tells you. It is NOT a happening "singles scene" but rather filled older couples and groups. Go if you're looking for a quiet Italian meal, but don't expect spectacular service.
Rude Service.
Had a group at Fiorino and found the waiter to be the worst I have ever encountered. He was rude and when we sent back "rare" tuna that was overcooked & ruined, he questioned us & had the nerve to cut it & say "it's OK". He then proceeded to show it to another waiter & in ear shot of the table they both questioned it.
We endured this and had to literally find him to get the check. We left a 14% tip even though he did not deserve it. Here is the kicker. He followed us out to the lobby and ASKED for a bigger tip. I have never been so upset at a restaurant. My suggestion is to skip the restauant until they change staff.
