Great food, terrible service. This place has the best courtyard and ambiance in town, but after dragging all of my friends who have visited Lambertville from New York and Princeton to the Swan Bar and having one terrible experience after the next, even the great food isn't worth it anymore. The service at the Swan Bar is consistently bad. If you don't mind waiting half an hour to get your first round of drinks while watching the bartender chat with his friends or being told in a very rude way that you can't stand at the bar (by the bartender!!!) or getting the wrong order and having your server tell you that's what you asked for, then by all means check out the Swan. As a Lambertville native, I'd rather go someplace with charming atmosphere AND great service, like the Boathouse, Hamilton's Grill, the Lambertville Station, or the excellent Lambertville House.
