Excellent fresh food. Harvest Moon is the best kept secret in Hunterdon County. The Tavern side is cozy bet elegant. We dine there often and have never been disappointed. Not only is the food delicious, but the food is very fresh. The desserts are fabulous! It can get a little expensive but at Harvest Moon you DO get what you pay for.

Always been a great place for us.... I was surprised to see the previous review for Harvest Moon Inn, as it's always been a nice place to visit. The food is traditional enough for people who want that, but with enough edge/variation to be interesting. The service has always been outstanding, and that includes "busy" nights like Valentine's Day. Hopefully, the other reviewers just got a bad night...

Good Food; Horrendous Service.
Went to Harvest Moon last night. Our waitress was rude and not attentive. There were 2 other people in the restaurant and she didn't come by once after we got our food. One person at our table wanted to order a 2nd glass of wine with her meal, but the waitress was nowhere to be found. Then when she did appear, she flew right by our table without even asking how the food was or if we needed anything.
Unfortunately, this place isn't worth the prices with the crappy service. The food was excellent.
