With 37 miles of the Delaware River within park limits and river access every eight to 10 miles, the Delaware Water Gap is known primarily as a water sports' hot spot. Those who choose to stay ashore can cycle 200 miles of roads, or watch for the wildlife running about. Hike up Mount Minsi, a five-mile trek that trips up those who haven't worn sensible shoes; rocks all over the trail turn many an ankle.

Pennsylvania Bad Rap

Pennsylvania has some of the most beautiful fall foliage around and it never seems to make it into the top ten. Why is that? You could probably go to more places total in Pennsylvania to see some spectacular fall scenes than any other state in this country, yet it never gets noted. I strongly reccomend for everyone to visit the Deleware Water Gap area this fall for some gorgeous scenery!
