decided i was done dating the abominable snowman and sent the boyfriend to our friendly neighborhood laser hair removal expert-lynda. 6 sessions and we could go to the beach without his hairy back being the topic of conversation. price was right too.

Pros: expert, safe, economical

Cons: no cons!

Lynda does a fantastic, thorough job with laser hair removal. I've tried a couple of different places and found that many practitioners are sloppy and miss spots, which means you have to go back for more treatments (which means more $$). Lynda is great in getting all the hair, especially in larger areas, and was accommodating in doing a free touch-up for the few places she missed. She's well worth the visit.

Lynda got rid of my bikini line in 5 reasonable sessions and now I am doing my legs-there is already much less hair left after just 2 sessions. This may sound shallow, but it really has changed my life. I spent 3 weeks at the beach this summer and never had to think about shaving, or razer bumps, or bumps from waxing. And, if you add up waxing once a month it pays off in the end to just lazer the hair off... Lynda is wonderful. The treatments barely hurt and she paces them well. She is also really knowledgeable-and a real nurse. She adjust the lazer to get the best results with least pain. I definitely recommend her!

SLaser hair removal from Lynda the Professional " SHE is no JOKE " Immediate results .She has done my bikini,underarm and face . She very sweet , reasonable, patient & very professional I love her .I highly recommend the laser nurse! OXXOOXXOXO

Lynda is amazing! Professional and very detail-oriented - she got rid of every hair,even the ones that I didn't know I had! Getting the hair lasered was the best thing I've done for myself. I owe to Lynda my smooth skin and all other wonderful things that come with hairless bikini!

After a year of enjoying the benefits of not having to wax my bikini area and deal with ingrown hairs etc. I have decided to go back to the wonderful laser nurse to finish my legs & underarms. Highly recommended.

Pros: always prompt, great results

Cons: it does hurt, but waxing was no picnic!

I definitely agree with the other positive reviews here. I just started going to Lynda and I found her to be very nice and understanding. She discussed everything with me and answered all my questions and she really made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be continuing treatment with her and I highly recommend her. The laser was stung a bit but that wasn't her fault and it's not much worse than waxing. Her prices are very reasonable and I'm already thinking about which part of my body I'm gonna do next..

Pros: I didn't have to wait, Lynda is great--very professional

Cons: Laser stings.

i am of lebanese and italian descent, and i also have pcos -- a hairy combo! after many years of plucking, shaving, and electrolysis, i finally decided to splurge on laser. i'm so happy with the results that i actually regret not going sooner. my bikini area was significantly improved after one treatment, and I just had my second. lynda is super nice, professional, and her prices are really good. i'm hooked.

Pros: nice, effective, good prices

Laser is tricky in that it's hard to know what the results will be - depends on the individual, hair and skin type, and so many variables...so basically, if you're going to go for it, I think you want to go for a place where you feel comfortable and where the prices are reasonable. Lynda price matches, so if you do shop around to compare rates, you can still end up getting the best rate from her. And she's nice, professional, personable, flexible, not at all creepy (the other place I went to for a consultation was kind of creepy..), and very low pressure - She's based out of a spa, but the business is just her--which I really liked. If you call or email, you schedule the appt with her, and she's there to answer questions, instead of some random office person. I would say that laser hair removal is an awkward, painful, expensive...indulgence (I'm totally sold, no regrets - I love not shaving). If you're going to do it, you want to go to someone that knows what they're doing and who you feel you can trust and feel comfortable with - I'd definitely recommend Lynda.
